In 2021, the Mayor of London personally requested Ramadan Tent Project to design the Eid light show in Trafalgar Square, celebrating another Eid in lockdown.
I designed and animated the projections that brightened up Trafalgar Square, and lit up Nelson's Column.
Alongside the light show, a live call to prayer was broadcasted to mark the end of Ramadan, and the start of Eid.
Having spent two Eid celebrations under lockdown, seeing this light instalment inspired Muslims in London and across the country.
